Selecting Parts from the MOTOR Database

To select a part from the MOTOR database, move through the database, selecting the appropriate group, subgroup, and part.

The program allows you to choose the following multiple operations for a single part:

• R&I and Refinish
• Align and any other operation
• Sublet and any other operation
• Blend and any other operation
• The program will not let you choose the same operation twice for a part

To select a part from the database

1. Open or create a workfile.
2. Select the Estimate tab, and then select the Lines tab.
3. Select the MOTOR tab from the database panel.
4. Select a group, subgroup, and a part from the database panel.
5. Select the Operations droplist, and then select an operation from the list. The Estimate Line Properties screen opens.
6. Enter the information, then and select Add to Estimate.

To replace multiple parts

1. Open or create a workfile.
2. Select the Estimate tab, and then select the Lines tab.
3. Select the MOTOR tab from the database panel.
4. Select a group, and then a subgroup.
5. Press the keyboard Ctrl key, and then select each part.
6. Select the Replace button from the toolbar. The selected parts are added to the estimate.
